It just doesn't make sense. Spas need to be hot and pools especially those at elevation with your brutal wind need help. Not too many people realize that you get snow on Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on the Big Island in the winter. Not sure if there are any pools on top of the mountain though. Your fuel costs are so high on the Islands that heat pumps are the only way to save the most money for heating. We also cool pools too if you need that during the summer. We ship to Hawaii every week and we can deliver right to your home or you can pick it up at the airport too.
