To check customer service with Saia, we went as far as shipping a heat pump to one of us here at Poolheatpumps.com to document and test a delivery. They did a great job. This particular day Jason from our company accepted delivery. The pictures below show the delivery process of his new Jandy heat pump: The day before the delivery you will receive a phone call from the trucking company to set up an appointment with you as soon as the next day if possible. The heat pump will arrive inside a cardboard box sitting on a pallet. This is to facilitate moving the heat pump around with a refrigerator dolly or similar type hand truck.
This is an example of a heat pump being lowered to the ground using a special truck with a hydraulic lift gate. We want your heat pump to be packed this way, because if there is damage you will easily notice it on the cardboard box. We want to avoid you accepting a dented or smashed heat pump. In the event that there is shipping damage, please refuse the heater, give us a call, and we will immediately ship a new heat pump to you. This is very rare but we don't like to take any chances that you will be disappointed. relax, we will take care of everything.
